A TEACHER REMEMBERS

AS I read the article, The diamond in his life, I saw the name “Maznah” and the accompanying picture. It struck me that this was the little girl of nine or 10 who was in the private school I taught for a while after leaving school.

I remember her as a vivacious, friendly, gay, talkative child. I knew she became a nurse and I met her once at the general hospital.

How strange it was to come across her life story after all these years and to know that Zieman is her daughter whose articles I enjoy reading!
